Coordinator in 1988 of the group author of the INFN’s farm for DELPHI dedicated to offline productions, a pioneer example in the CPU cluster world based on commodity components (digital workstations connected via Ethernet)
Member of the Management Board of the DELPHI project from 1993 to 2000, as coordinator of the computing offline activity

Chairman at CERN of the LHC Computing Committee from 1996 to 2000
